A Brief History
Like many internet companies founded in the late 90s, Fi began life as a little company with big ideas. Disappointed with the user experience offered by websites of that era, founder and CEO David Hugh Martin set out to create interactive experiences that raised and set the bar for portals, applications and microsites.
Driven by passion and meticulous attention to detail, the small operation quickly grew into a globally recognized agency — broadening and deepening its expertise and rapidly attracting a list of glamorous clients who shared our vision for quality-driven interactive solutions.
Over the last decade Fi has grown and matured; we have steadily expanded our focus to meet the increasingly sophisticated needs of our clients and the relentless progress of the industry. How Do You Benchmark Excellence?
Awards are an important part of our industry as they benchmark online excellence. Over the years, we have treated the winning of awards as our internal standard for quality. Notable recognitions in 2010 were the Webby for Porsche Panamera, Adobe Max Social Computing award for Wacom and yet another nomination for .Net Agency of the Year (having won Agency of the Year in 2008). Fi was the first inductee into the FWA Hall of Fame and won the Swedish Supergasell. Fi was also listed 3rd after Apple (1st) and Pixar (2nd) on Imagine Publishing's "Most Inspiring Companies List". Dreamworks (4th), Amazon, Nintendo and Virgin Atlantic were some of the companies that made it to the list.
